I believe horses are living, breathing animals that deserve to be sold to the best new home possible, not auctioned off to the highest bidder ebay-style. If you have a horse you need to "dump quickly for whatever someone will pay" - please do not ask me to represent that horse on my website. This is NOT the type of marketing I do (I will leave those services to the horse traders that provide them.) My clients come to my websites seeking top quality unique horses - many are shopping internationally to find just that perfect, special, rare new addition, and I do my best to represent only the type of horses that I can be proud to advertise for their owners.

I will not knowingly advertise any horse with any undisclosed issue such as genetic disorder/defect, conformation flaw/defect, vice, unsoundness, injury/illness, dangerous behavior, etc. Again, I will leave that market to the horse traders who are willing to make their livings by peddling such horses to unsuspecting buyers. I take pride in my reputation, and wish to honestly/accurately represent GOOD horses! If you don't do business this way, please do not ask me to advertise for you. Of course I cannot possibly know everything there is to know about every horse I advertise, and it is between the seller and buyer to assess whether the horse is the correct fit for the home, but I refuse to do business with anyone that I learn or have reason to suspect is dishonest/unethical in their business practices, or trying to sell a horse with any undisclosed issue whatsoever. HONESTY FIRST!

Thank you for your interest in advertising on my coloredhorsesforsale.com website. Any age/breed/gender/discipline is acceptable, as long as the horse is "colored" (not solid sorrel/chestnut/bay/brown) and you agree to abide by the concept of HONESTY FIRST! (To advertise a great horse that is not a fancy color, please consider our new "sister site" HFHS - Honesty First Horse Sales) All inquiries will be directed to you, the seller. My site has been very successful since I started it in the summer of 2007 (feel free to scroll through our WALL OF SUCCESS to see Sold Horses since then.) We have exported many horses to international buyers as well, especially the rare champagnes which many have come to my site seeking. Listings will remain on my site up to 3 months, or until you tell me the horse is sold or you would like it removed. I am offering a variety of ad options/packages:

• Basic Sale Listing and Collage Ad - $30:

On my main Home page, I add your horse, its search criteria, thumbnail photo in results list, and create/add a custom photo collage in the slideshow. Included are the registered name, breed/year/color/gender, one line of text (whatever you think is most important to include), location, price, and link to horse's page. This Basic page will display the photo collage only (no additional photos), price, basic contact information (first name, phone number and/or Email link/button), one simple paragraph of text that you provide, a link to horse's pedigree on allbreedpedigree.com (if available), and a link to your website or an outside ad you have placed, if desired. Then for any outside ads (like equine.com) you place, you can use the collage ad I created for your horse, if desired (I can provide you an alternate version of the collage to include your website URL or phone number rather than coloredhorsesforsale.com). • Basic plus More Photos/Info Page - Add $15 (total $45):

In addition to my Basic Listing with photo collage, I can also include up to 8 more photos (no captions) in simple slideshow format, a scanned pedigree file rather than link, if desired, and up to two simple paragraphs of text that you provide, plus registration number and height/weight if desired. Save yourself the time and hassle of emailing multiple photos and pedigree to multiple potential buyers. This option allows you to show them all in one place, as well as to provide some additional information to help avoid answering the same questions repeatedly. Please click to see an example.

• Basic plus Equine.com Premium Ad - Add $30 (total $60):

For extra exposure, I highly suggest outside advertising on one or more of the popular horse marketing sites that generate an incredible amount of daily traffic and site hits, in addition to my Basic Listing. Equine.com has been very successful for my clients in recent years. I can place an ad there for your horse (it allows up to 12 different photos or collages per ad, plus one youtube video) if desired. To place your own Premium Ad costs $25, so for $5 more toward my time, I will crop/resize/upload all your photos and place your ad for you if you don't want to place your own ad. These remain active for up to 6 months. This type of ad can really get your horse seen by a LOT of potential buyers quickly, and can work very well in combination with a Basic Listing on my site. I will also list your horse on at least one additional horse sales website at no charge, to help bring more traffic. Please click to see an example.

• Basic plus Full Page Detailed Listing - Add $45 (total $75):

To feature your horse most effectively and impressively, consider my Detailed Listing. In addition to the Basics, I will also build your horse a full page detailed ad on my site. This page can display all the photos (including individual captions you provide) of horse, siblings, sire, dam, scanned pedigree file, scanned test results, etc. - up to 18 total files. Also displayed are unlimited text writeup (whatever you desire and email to me) which can include registration number and height/weight, accomplishments, linked or embedded youtube video, link to sire's website if desired, other outside ads, etc. I will also list your horse on at least two additional horse sales websites at no charge, to help bring more traffic. • Updates and Renewals - As needed:

New photo shoot? Horse just took first at a big show? Training progress to announce? Want to freshen up or add to your current listing? I am available to make any desired updates to your ad quickly and affordably - typically within 2 business days. Flat rate of $10 per 20 minute increment, as often and as little or as much as you would like done. Additional 3-month Renewals without updates are only $10 after ad expiration.

To Get Started:

your ad package choice from the list above, the horse's above mentioned information, and at least a few, up to 5 or 6 large uncropped photos to choose from per horse for the collage (more photos/files for "Basic plus" packages as indicated above), as well as pedigree link or papers scan if you'd like that displayed also. If you have something specific in mind (collage text, color scheme, layout, font, etc.) please indicate this as well. Also please indicate whether broke to ride, and the numbers from this list for any Potential Disciplines you would like included for your horse:
I can accept online payment (see below) to get your ad started sooner, or mailed check () if you prefer. I will typically get your collage and ad done and posted within 2 to 3 business days of receiving your payment and the necessary photos/information.
